Executive Team

Clint Carnell
Chief Executive Officer
Clint has served as Chief Executive Officer for The HydraFacial Company since December 2016, bringing a broad and deep experience in non-invasive aesthetics and skin health. Clint championed the rebranding of the company in 2017 and drove the company strategy and culture shift that has resulted in explosive revenue growth and rapidly growing global recognition. In 2000, he founded and later successfully sold Charleston Renal Care, a chain of dialysis centers to DaVita. He was instrumental in the development of LASIK during the early 2000’s as head of surgical for Bausch + Lomb, contributing to the rapid growth of corporate refractive chains. Clint brought his skills to non-invasive aesthetics, joining Thermage in 2005 where he was Chief Operating Officer and helped take the company public in 2006. Later named Solta Medical, the brands Thermage, Fraxel and Clear + Brilliant are still globally recognized by consumers and physicians alike. He is also Chairman of OrangeTwist Brands.
Deborah Rodriguez
Chief Talent Officer
Deb joined The HydraFacial Company as Chief Human Resources Officer in February 2017, and leads both the Customer Education and Human Resources teams. In the first 18 months with the company, she and her team have been responsible for hiring and onboarding over 300 employees, more than doubling the size of the organization. Deb brings more than 20 years of experience as a global talent leader for Fortune 500, mid-sized and start-up organizations, holding senior leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, Allergan, GE Capital, Alliance Healthcare Services and Atlantic Richfield (ARCO). She has extensive experience in change management, culture development, organizational design & leadership development, strategic planning, and executive coaching. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development, is a Six-Sigma Executive Black Belt and is a certified executive leadership coach.
Liyuan Woo
Chief Financial Officer
Liyuan joined the HydraFacial Company in September 2020 as EVP, Chief Financial Officer. Liyuan has more than 23 years of experience building and creating infrastructure to enable aggressive global scaling, while promoting profitability. Prior to The HydraFacial Company, Ms. Woo was the COO & CFO of The VOID, a highly rated VR brand introducing consumers to fully immersive, location-based, hyper-reality experiences. Throughout her career, Ms. Woo provided leadership to both growth oriented and turnaround situations. Prior to the VOID, Liyuan was the EVP, CFO at SharkNinja, a growth oriented multi-billion dollar consumer electronic product portfolio category creator focused on innovation and marketing. At SharkNinja, she was in charge of finance, capital raising and allocation, legal and strategic initiatives involving global expansion and M&A. Previously, Liyuan, as a Director of Alix Partners, acted as CFO during Gymboree Group’s multi-billion dollar restructuring process. Additionally, she teamed up with other executive members in establishing the strategic plan, supply chain hub in Asia, and international expansion. Prior to that, she was the CFO of bebe stores, a publicly traded global multi-channel fashion brand. During her 6 years with bebe, Liyuan was responsible for all aspects of finance and operations. Liyuan started her career with the consulting firm Deloitte in its Mergers and Acquisitions Transaction Services and Financial Advisory functions. During her 13 years with Deloitte, she provided financial advisory services to public and private companies for M&A transactions, IPOs and growth initiatives.
Dan Watson
EVP, Sales
Dan has served as EVP of Sales for US and Canada since March 2017, using his 34 years of medical device sales experience to drive our capital sales teams and business development teams in both the medical, non-medical and corporate channels. Prior to joining HydraFacial, Dan was the VP of Sales at Stryker Spine, where he developed and executed the Sales strategy to hit annual revenue and Op Income targets. Dan has also held various senior sales management positions for companies such as Sherwood Medical, Ethicon EndoSurgery, CR Bard, SpineTech, Oratec, and Smith and Nephew.
